Well there's a thread on what we're getting, so what about a thread on what we're giving? I already did my holiday shopping. Unfortunately, I did it on Black Friday. Its some crazy tradition my mom insists on upholding...she drives my sisters and I to the mall and has us all shop separately for gifts. I don't really get it. Moving on. I got my older sister a thing that keeps open wine good for longer, my twin is getting a Charlie Brown book, my younger sister is getting a necklace with a rhinestone Fleur De Lis. I got my sister's boyfriend's son a lego set (shit is cash, man) and an I Spy book, my mom is getting historical romance novels and my dad is getting some mesquite sauce he likes. I got my boyfriend an engraved pen, and I'm going to either make fudge or else white chocolate peppermint bark for my friends.

I am giving a large sum of cash to my university for X-mas. I hope they like it.

I am, in fact, giving nothing to no one. No one is going to give me anything; they better expect the same in return.

I'm probably buying a t-shirt for my buddy(and he's getting me a glass pipe) and a movie for this girl(i get a movie too!), but that's about it.

I got no one to give anything this xmas except for my sister but we never give gifts to each other anyway.

I can't drive yet, but I'm planning to go into the city, there are a couple of quirky anime and sci-fi stores there, I'm sure I'll get the majority of my gifts there. I already got my girlfriend some DVDs of an old series she loves and a book. I usually do some baking for the holidays as well, so I'll make some cake and cookies for my friends when we get together.

Daryl Collins will get £5 worth of motorbike toys.

Work colleagues will get pens because I steal theres.

I was about to say "lolnothing", but then I remembered I was planning on baking peanut butter/chocolate chip swirly cookie thingies that I thought up while I was at my sister's house while eating cookie dough.


My gift for birthdays and holidays is usually just my presence. >.> Like for my friend's brother's last birthday I missed a funeral just to be there.

I'm getting my friends all kinds of stuff. Mostly T-shirts from threadless... and i'll get one friend a 'make fuck, not kill' custom t-shirt. and uh... a snow globe and a coathanger for the purposes of inside joke gift for one friend. also i'm getting a few friends to buy this for one of our friends. And whatever other random things probably... maybe a couple cds.

I have no idea what i'm getting my parents.
